Chad and Bob Rummer formed a strong bond over a decade ago when Chad was renovating one of Bob’s original homes. Chad’s experience renovating Rummer homes and the invaluable knowledge Bob shared about his homes has been instrumental in Chad’s role with Rummer Development.
With over 30 years of construction experience, Chad has a proven track record of leadership and expertise. He began his career in framing, where he quickly advanced by mastering blueprints, understanding key concepts, and managing large crews. Chad’s proficiency extends to all trades and phases of construction, leading to his General contractors license over 20 years ago. His diverse portfolio includes commercial projects such as hotels, restaurants, and tenant improvements for multiple businesses. His residential experience encompasses home renovations of all types and styles, with a focus on new construction custom and spec home building, as well as land division and developments.
Chad’s artistic mindset compliments his construction expertise. His employment at Portland Art Museum and Bullseye Glass, along with a deep background in art, aligns seamlessly with the “mad men” era, midcentury modern home style, and Bob’s vision for creating not just a house, but a home with a profound way of living.
We provide an all-inclusive building experience including architecture, design, build, financing support, and land acquisition.
